Dwight Freeney. Top 5 pass rusher in the league. I feel bad for him because he is on a sub par defense but him, and occasionally Robert Mathis hold it all down.

Bad news for Peyton Manning fantasy owners: the Indianapolis Colts announced today that they have coaxed Kerry Collins out of retirement to “back up” Manning.

In other words, the Sheriff will not be ready to start the season and will likely miss at least a game or two. Manning has been struggling to recover from a neck injury and—with Curtis Painter looking awful this preseason—Collins is being brought in as a $4 million insurance policy.

I already had Peyton Manning rated #7 among all fanyasy QBs, but perhaps it may be time to consider moving guys like Matt Ryan and Matt Schaub ahead of him too.
